Yes you can! We had this horrible, ugly scratched Pottery Barn ottoman we got years ago which I can’t bear to part with (it may have been the first piece of furniture Jonathan and I bought together) but which, in its current state, cannot be used. Rather than getting rid of it, I decided to cover it with a slipcover.
