InMat Fitness: Wellness Tips
Relieve Baby's Ear Pain
Step 1) Place your pointer finger behind your baby's earlobe while placing your thumb at the place where the earlobe attaches to the face. Pinch gently three times on each side holding the intention to relieve ear congestion.
Step 2) Hold baby's foot in one hand and "caterpillar-walk" the thumb of your other hand in short, forward moving motion along the sole of the foot, just under the fourth toe to the base of the pinky toe, until you reach the outer edge of the foot. Repeat as you take five deep breaths.
Step 3) Hold baby's hand in yours - palm up. With the thumb of your free hand, caterpillar-walk your thumb in the area just under the fourth finger to the base of the pinky finger, until you reach the outer edge of the hand. Repeat as you take five deep breaths. By applying the caterpillar-walk to specific ear points on the body we can help relieve ear pain.
